Lamas Transits Herald the Return of the Harvest Season
Hey y'all - it's that time again!
Okay, breathe. From what I am hearing, many of you are feeling like the Mercury Retrograde has started already, correct? Seriously.
And for some, it sounds like the last one never ended, like it has been
going on all spring and summer. And the beginning of the Harvest season
at Lamas has only accelerated the process. But this time, it hasn't been all Mercury. That on again, off again T-Square iinvolving the great transformers (Pluto, Uranus and Saturn, for you newbies), has been on a bit of a change rampage,
ready or not. Many, if not most, can no longer avoid tending to our
physical and emotional infrastructure: upgrading all that is outdated
and fixing all the broken things, inside and out.
So
keep breathing. This is a good thing, remember? And with the right
information, your can create the right mindset; with the right
mindset you can make all kinds of things happen, listen up. This summer's Mercury Retrograde runs from August 20th to September 13th. Mercury
retrogrades at 19 degrees Virgo and goes direct again at 5 degrees
Virgo. In case you hadn't noticed, this one is all Virgo. Seriously. Each retrograde - and its potential impact on an individual - is different. It
could have a huge impact, no impact, or something in between. It all
depends on the math of it in your natal chart. Given
that, here is a general guide to what you can expect. |

Mercury Retrogrades in Virgo
The Eternal Quest for Perfection
On the upside, Mercury in Virgo is a natural skeptic. Mercury in Virgo needs to be convinced, it needs to see the evidence, and your logic needs to be sound. Beyond reproach, even.
This can be quite an undertaking, but once won over, Mercury in Virgo
will be your staunchest ally. It is phenomenally analytical,
meticulous, and painstaking. You want your tax preparer to have Mercury
in Virgo, thank you very much. And your auto mechanic. Mercury in Virgo
loves the research process, is as relentless and tenacious as a bulldog
and pretty much won't stop until it is damn good and ready. Mercury in
Virgo can also be a handy thing to have in friends and lovers, for it
is versatile, intellectual, and quite discriminating.
Mercury
Retrograde in Virgo will be the poster child for obsessive-compulsive
disorder. When there is stress, that obsessiveness will become focused
like a laser beam on any and all imperfections, ending up well beyond
hypercritical, in that red zone of impossible to please, appease
or fix. Also, more than almost any other, Mercury Retrograde in this
sign will indicate mechanical breakdowns of appliances, computers,
vehicles, etc., so take no chances. When you see this one coming, get
your car tuned up and back up your computer. |

Finding Your Way: Making Peace
with the Process
In closing, pace yourself. Mercury Retrograde in Virgo is sort of famous for burnouts, flameouts and spinouts, largely because it is nothing
if not a relentless confrontation festival. Honestly. It doesn't just
hit you in the weakest link in your chain; it hits you in all
the weakest links in your chain. Every single one: repeatedly and in
succession, until you shift. So be a quick study. This Mercury
Retrograde's purpose is to teach you a new way of being. But it can't
do that without first identifying your denial levels and your
delusions. Especially around superiority and inferiority, dependence and independence, service and slavery. Only then can you address them.
Your degree of frustration and humiliation is directly proportional to
the degree of your resistance. So get it and get it right the first
time. Mercury's Retrograde in Virgo is sort of like the
hazing that goes along with joining a sports team or a college
fraternity, you have to go along with it. Think of it as boot camp for
your ego. It's can be a bit tiresome, really, mending all those fences and building - or rebuilding - all those bridges. But it is so necessary if you want to get anywhere near where you are trying to go.
This time of year can be one of great toil. But it is also a time
of great riches and rewards, as you reap the harvest you have
sown over the course of the last twelve months. You are
manifesting your intentions. You are also gathering the seeds for next
springs' plantings. Don't lose sight of that. Ever.
If you need help understanding, preparing for,or figuring out how to
reframe and maximize your harvest and retrograde - call me. We'll
figure it out!
